Installed mod is saved in your install game directory. Typically C:Program FIlesSkyrimData Saved mods by NMM are saved in another directory, depending on your choice when you install NMM. Mine is C:GamesNexus Mod ManagerSkyrimMods If you don't know where yours are, you can reinstall NMM, not the game, to see in which directory NMM save mods.

I prefer Mod Organizer (my favorite mod organizer of all time, in fact), but unfortunately I've had countless issues with it that other people can't replicate. Because of this, I'm going to need a new mod manager until one lucky day when Mod Organizer works for me again (hopefully within a few updates).

I went on tesnexus, downloaded them via the mod manager, then told them to activate. But, when I went to activate them, they never showed up in the data files list or the list where you turn mods on/off in the mod manager.
